AEROSEC Engineering ("we", "us") is a Canadian engineering consultancy focused on airworthiness security and aviation cybersecurity. Contact: info@aerosec.ca.

What this site collects

• Website content only. This is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not run server-side code here.
• No forms, no cookies by default. If we later enable privacy-friendly analytics (e.g., Plausible/Umami), we will update this page.
• Hosting logs. GitHub Pages may collect standard HTTP logs (IP address, user agent, referrer) for reliability and security. We do not access or combine those logs to profile visitors.
• Email you send us. When you contact us, we receive your email address and message content. We use Proton services for private-at-rest email storage.

How we use information

• Respond to enquiries and deliver consulting services.
• Maintain site security and diagnose availability issues.
• Meet legal, regulatory, and accounting obligations.

Data storage & security

• Email & documents: stored with Proton services, using end-to-end encryption at rest for our mailboxes and encrypted storage for files.
• Website hosting: GitHub Pages (static files). We keep no server-side databases for this site.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers (e.g., Proton, GitHub) strictly to operate this site and communications, or when required by law.

Retention

We retain correspondence and engagement records only as long as necessary for business, legal, or regulatory purposes, then securely delete or archive them.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data in our possession, subject to applicable law. Contact us at info@aerosec.ca.

Changes

We may update this policy as our site or practices evolve. Material changes will be noted here with a new effective date.
